Responses From Scott Windsor:
Roma Locuta Est, Causa Finita Est
Did St. Augustine Say That?
A response to David King and Eric Svendsen
This topic came from a webboard which prior to
my posting of this response turned into a "closed"
board. The "Roman Catholic community" was removed
from the board (with some exceptions) with this message:
Greetings,
If you are on this distribution list it is because your membership has
been removed from the NTRMin discussion forum. The reason for this
removal is that the NTRMin Discussion Forum is becoming a closed forum
for evangelicals and sincere seekers only. Unfortunately, someone from
the Roman Catholic community (and someone in this email distribution)
decided to violate board rules by providing RC discussion boards with
private NTRMin board correspondence. Since we cannot be certain which
poster violated the rule, we felt it necessary, in the best interest
of the board, simply to make it a closed forum. I apologize to those
of you who had no part in this, and I personally wish you all the
best.
Sincerely,
Eric Svendsen |

That particular webboard has since closed, and now
NTRMin operates two discussion boards, one "closed"
and one "open" to the general "Roman Catholic community."
This discussion has since reopened on the new "open"
discussion board.
There was some dispute over my initial reporting of this
situtation, I hope this revision clarifies it.
May the peace of Christ, which surpasses all understanding,
keep our hearts and minds on Christ Jesus,

Roma Locuta Est, Causa Finita Est (again)
After a bit of a pause in my discussions on NTRMin's
Discussion board, I came back and challenged Mr. King
on a different topic, but he raised the "roma locuta est"
topic again - the link takes you to my responses.
